Young Living Essential Oils

I’ve been using essential oils for a month now and I wanted to let you know what they are and how they help the human body and why they are a great spot to start with natural healthy living.  I was a skeptic when I first heard of oils but optimistic when I tried it. I had heard tons of wonderful testimonials from a lot of people and it seemed like the area to start to live healthier. The first oil I have used was peppermint oil. If you ask me why, it is because I tend to have daily migraines that are followed by me destroying my body by taking way too much Tylenol. Over the last month that I have been using this oil, I have had 0 migraines and am completely free of Tylenol.. Peppermint is great in this aspect, another oil I am going to use once it is delivered to my house is Panaway, which is used more for long term pain or muscle soreness. I have also used Stress Away oil from Young Living which the name tells you what it does and it worked tremendously with my anxiety for a few days as well. This is a fairly new Journey I am on which I will continue to be happy to share.

There are many different oils that can be used for many different things;

  • Clove. … This oil is used for treating a variety of health issues including skin issues, toothache, indigestion, cough, asthma, headache, stress, and blood impurities.
  • Eucalyptus. … Anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, decongestant, deodorant, antiseptic, antibacterial.
  • Frankincense. …  relieve chronic stress and anxiety, reducing pain and inflammation, boosting immunity and even potentially helping to fight cancer.
  • Lavender. … Helps with sleeping and relaxing.
  • Lemon. … Makes for a great Cleaner.
  • Oregano. … Antibacterial, antiparasitic, antiseptic, antiviral and immune stimulating
  • Peppermint. .. Helps with some pain, also helps wake you and clears your sinuses and makes your breath smell good mixed with water for that big date.

If you reading this and are a Christian, this has ton of biblical principles as well. Jesus was brought Frankincense by the wise-men. The Bible mentions aroma and incense extensively. In Exodus 30:22-33, God instructs the Israelites to make anointing oil with myrrh, fragrant cane, cinnamon, and cassia (similar to cinnamon) in a medium of olive oil. Frankincense was also to be added to the grain offering (Leviticus 2:1-2) as a “soothing aroma to the LORD.” The wise men brought frankincense and myrrh to the young Jesus (Matthew 2:11).

So lets say you want to live a healthy life, or a Godly healthy life, then I urge you to take a step like I did and kick pills out of your house and use something that was put on the earth first by God. I urge you to sign up for Young Living Oils and I will sponsor you and mentor you in this journey of becoming healthy. We can talk on the phone or in email, it does not matter to me as long as I am helping you to live healthy!

Now why choose Young Living Oils which are a tad more pricey then what you find in Walmart? Well here is why;  You can find oils that labels will say 100% pure, organic, and natural, and they are not!!!!!…some may even say therapeutic grade; but they are far from it. No government agency has defined the term “therapeutic”, and no agency regulates the content of labels on essential oils in a way that would remedy these deceptions. Therapeutic oils are almost NEVER sold in retail stores. Over 90% of the oils that are sold as “essential” in America are food or fragrance grades and are NOT suitable for wellness applications. It’s just not going to come from them. Young Living Oils are 100 percent pure oils with no fillers!

Now how do I know this???????? Here is the process in which Young Living creates their oils…. Seed to seal and no fillers or toxins;

Seed – Potent essential oils come from plant species that have been authenticated by Young Living and other industry experts.

Cultivate – Soil preparation, balance of sun and water, and responsible weed and pest control ensure stringent standards are met. The pests are not sprayed with pesticides and all plants are handpicked.

Distill – Young Living’s proprietary low-temperature, low-pressure steam distillation process assures that the beneficial plant compounds in every batch are not compromised during the extraction process.

Test – Each essential oil must pass Young Living’s stringent testing to ensure the optimal bio-active natural compounds are present.

Seal – Young Living completes the Seed to Seal process by carefully sealing each bottle of essential oils and shipping to members worldwide.

After I read all of the research and time that goes into a bottle of Young Living oil, I am TOTALLY okay with spending a few more dollars to know that I’m getting something that is real.

10 Reasons To Praise God

My daily thoughts on why we should praise God. Here are 10 Reasons I’m praising God today.

He is faithful

He gives you life you can’t take credit for

He heals

He saves

He loves you even when you are a disaster

He calms the storm

He guards your soul

He is love

He contains all power

He overcame death

Thanksgiving

The bread of life was thankful for all the bread given to him, for all the Father had done for him

It is that time of the year to shove stuffing, ham, turkey, potatoes, and more turkey down our throats ruining our new years resolution on weight loss that was started the beginning of the year.

There is a lot for us to be thankful for, Jesus and salvation is the biggest reason obviously.

What was Jesus thankful for though on his time here on earth? well lets dive into scripture and take a look.

Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to the disciples, who distributed the food to the crowd. Matthew 15:36

“Jesus responded, ‘Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?” So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.’” John 11:40-42

Jesus was thankful for those hearing the Gospel, he was thankful for all the things that the father has done for him. The first verse he thanked the father that he was able to feed those in need, he was thankful for others, not just himself, Jesus was and is truly humble.

In the second verse posted, Jesus is thankful that the father heard him. We need to be thankful like Jesus was. Jesus was thankful in every instance of his life. The bread of life was thankful for all the bread given to him, for all the Father had done for him and that the Father hears him. We are to be thankful to God just as Jesus was thankful to his Father.

Jesus is the main reason we are to be thankful this year. Here are my reasons to be thankful: Salvation, Family, Food, Not broke, A roof over my head, Another day to be alive to serve Jesus.

What reasons do you have to be thankful?

Love is the answer.

Where is the love of Christ anymore? Gee, I honestly don’t know anymore. Everytime you turn on the television, all you see is hate. On Facebook you’ll see Christians constantly fight with each other over differences in minor theology. This world is sure in a down spiral. Christians are supposed to be the world changers , the dreamers, those who spread the news of Christ, but from what I’ve seen; it’s no wonder many are leaving or running away from Christianity.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a pessimistic view on life and society. I’m very optimistic that the love of Christ will start shining through his creation, but only if we let the spirit of God flood his church.
Let’s stop hating other people, lets stop putting other people down. Love is the answer, not hate. As I sit here and think, it hurts my head because it confuses me so much on why there is so much hate.

Here where I’m from, America, we proclaim to be the greatest Christian nation but it is not reflected in the way our society acts. It’s time for not just the young millinieals to start standing up for what is right, but it is time for everyone to link arms and sing one unified song underneath the flag of Jesus Christ.

My philosophy is, if it doesn’t affect the gospel of salvation , stop fighting about who is right over small stuff. Lets unify under Christ and make this world a better place.

Love is the answer for everything, not hate.

When God says no

We first need to remember that God is God and we are not God and that his ways are above ours. He sees the future, we do not; he lays out the foundations of our life, yet our ways lead to destruction

Sometimes God will tell you no, he will decline your prayer request and say “Son, Daughter; my answer is no.” When this happens we are at a crossroads. We can either take offense to God and be angry or we can pursue after the will of God and find peace in his answer.

How do we find peace in the instance of God saying no? I mean, you prayed for God to get you that new job and then God slammed the door shut in your face, how are you supposed to be happy and find peace? We first need to remember that God is God and we are not God and that his ways are above ours. He sees the future, we do not; he lays out the foundations of our life, yet our ways lead to destruction! Why does God have to say yes, if that is the case we are God and he is not. See if your God never disagrees with you then your worshiping yourself.

God sees into the future while we do not, God may see that job leading you into self idol worship while you do not. God may see a different job for you where you get to witness to others yet you do not see this in the future. God says ask and it will be given unto you as long as what you are asking for is within his will. So if God says NO to you; then we are to know that what we prayed for was not in his will. He has something much better for you.

Do not take offense to God when he tells you no. Years ago I wanted to be apart of a youth leadership team. God told me no and to leave that church. I was flabbergasted at this. Come to find out, the youth group turned into petty fights and left God; God wanted to remove me from that situation before it even happened to me. God knows what is best. Put your trust in him and remember God is not your fairy God mother giving you all your wants. He will give you all your NEEDS not wants. He is for you not against you.

The Great Unknown

Often times I ask myself, “Jessee, are you living for God to your fullest potential? Are you letting God lead you into the great unknown asking God for the impossible or am I just living a comfortable do nothing christian walk” Another way I can put it is, am I only willing to serve God where I am comfortable? Am I chasing the dreams that God put in my heart or am I to afraid of the unknown and give up.

While reading a devotional that pastor Steven Furtick wrote, something stuck out to me on what he wrote, “If your not asking God to do the impossible then your missing out on the best parts of your christian walk.” When your in the word of God reading about the great men that God used; Moses, Noah, John the Baptist etc. how often do you find yourself having the same level of faith that the men of old had. If God said to you that you will split the red sea to save his people; would you believe that you could do that or would you back away because such a great task is out of your comfort zone.

In my faith I am finding that I am afraid of the great unknown. I have all these dreams and hopes that God has instilled on my heart to do and the great unknown is; will I ever be able to do what God has called me to do or will I fail and fall short?

Ask God to perform the impossible in your life. If your struggling in life and you do not think you will ever achieve what God has called you to do; call out to God to perform a miracle. One of the greatest stories in the bible was when Joshua was at war. He knew that day he needed to defeat the enemy but he knew if the sun were to set; then the enemy would escape. Joshua prayed to God for the impossible and God allowed the sun to not set. It was the prayer that made the sun stand still. I earnestly believe God can still perform those very same miracles in your and my own life.

They say, with the faith of a mustard seed, that you can move a mountain and I want a faith like that.

Forgiveness

We all make mistakes and cross that line. We all mess up and fall and burn bridges. Our hearts all have been broken; and we all have broke hearts. Guilt does a job on everyone’s soul; that guilt though is the holy spirit nudging on your soul to call out for forgiveness. Who are we to call out to forgiveness for? Well..God; we have all wronged God.
Who has? Surely not me you may say, but the word of God says for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We all need forgiveness; were all holding onto the guilt of something terrible we have done. The good news is Jesus hung on a bloody cross for us so that we may be forgiven. Just cry out to Jesus and let go of the guilt. Nothing is sweeter then the day we find forgiveness. No matter how lost you are; your not to far for the grace of God to find you.

You can go and play it like nothing has ever happened but you can bet that when your head hits that pillow at night it’ll be on your mind. You’ll be fighting that guilt and you’ll be fighting that emptiness. Don’t hold onto to it; give that weight to God. Your never to far gone.
John 3:16
